This New England Universalist Church building was built circa 1835 with original stained glass windows, hardwood floors, choir loft, stamped tin ceiling and recent heating system. Owned by the Universalist church until 1958, the church steeple houses the historic town clock given by the Childs family in 1890 and the building features stained glass windows that memorialize early Wilmington families. The uses of the building over the past 70 years include use as a kindergarten, a gift shop, a crafts store and currently the building is leased by Valley Town Church.
